Running for Charity
The Birmingham Black Country Half Marathon is committed to helping raise money for local, national and international charities. Over the years we have had hundreds runners fundraising for all manner of charities. Each year we reserve a growing number of places for charity runners. Partnering with charities is an integral part of the Birmingham Black Country Half every year. Running for a charity can be an extremely rewarding experience, most charities offer training and fundraising support, running t-shirts and race day support in return for your fundraising commitment. Some of our race charities provide volunteers to help marshal the event, a fantastic opportunity for non runners to get involved in the event whilst supporting your charity.
Fundraising on your own
As well as our official charities many of our runners fundraise for their own chosen charity. It is easy to fundraise for your chosen charity, simply set up a Virgin Money or Just Giving account and watch the donations roll in. If you are undecided about which charity to raise money for, why not consider one of our official race charities?
